Vintage Bassanese Ceramic Basket: Woven White Italian Centerpiece

Made in Italy, this beautiful white ceramic basket has a woven design and is made of sturdy earthen ware. In the majolica style, this handcrafted basket is rectangular in shape and has a bright white glaze. Underneath the piece is the original gold sticker and the maker's mark, "Primo'gi, Made in Italy" is stamped into the ceramic. Named for its founder Primon Giorgio who began handcrafted production in 1971 in Bassano del Grappa, Italy.

This Italian ceramic basket makes wonderful centerpiece on it's own, but also serves multiple other uses such as a fruit basket or bread basket.

Condition: There is one small chip on the underside corner. This is not visible unless the piece is turned over (please see last photo). Feel free to message me if you have additional questions or would like more photos.
