Vintage Wedgwood Blue Jasperware Box: Pegasus Trinket Dish

Wedgwood Jasperware PEGASUS round lidded box. Made in the classic Wedgwood Blue with white relief of Pegasus on the lid. This is round in shape with fluted sides. Jasperware was first developed by Josiah Wedgwood in the 1770s. Made of stoneware with an unglazed matte finish. Pale blue has become known as "Wedgwood blue." Bottom has the stamp, "Wedgwood Made In England." The date stamp is unrecognizable but it is vintage.

Condition: Excellent – no chips, cracks, stains, or crazing.

Measurements: 3.75"L x 3.75W x 2.25"H
