Antique MZ Altrohlau Porcelain Creamer and Sugar Bowl – Berkshire Pattern

This lovely creamer and sugar bowl set dates to 1918 – 1922. This set is part of the Berkshire collection which is hexagonal in shape with blue, pink and yellow flowers on a cream background. Both pieces are also trimmed with a blue and gold pattern designed, and have gold gilt on the handles, finial. and banding.

Crafted in Altrohlau, Czechoslovakia. Each piece has the maker's mark, "MZ Altrohlau CMR Czechoslovakia." The MZ mark was used since 1884 when the porcelain factory purchased by the Moritz Zdekauer Bank. In 1909 it was then bought by C.M. Hutschenreuther, and since then the maker's mark has been MZ Altrolau. The factory operated until 1945,
