Experience the timeless beauty of mid-century modern design with this Japanese tea set for two. This collectible set includes two complete three-piece settings, each consisting of a beautifully crafted teacup, saucer, and a 6.5-inch dessert plate. The wheat motif is decorated in gold and silver on white bone china. Adding a beautiful detail is the gold gilded on each rim plus the teacup handles.
Made by CTSI (Correct Table Service Inc.) in Japan during the 1960s. This is CTSI's Eternal Harvest pattern which features a wheat motive popular during the mid-20th century. Wheat symbolizes prosperity, love, home and hearth, harvest, spring, birth and hope, making this set a meaningful gift.
Whether this set is enjoyed for an intimate “tea for two” or displayed or a mid century touch of decor, it's a lovely example of time period and Japanese refinement.
