This vintage McCoy Floraline pottery set includes a 9.5-inch hourglass vase (model 400) and a 4.75-inch pedestal planter (model 461), both finished in a speckled matte green glaze. Designed for the florist industry, the Floraline line was produced in the 1960s and 1970s in the USA, offering simple yet elegant forms perfect for mid-century modern decor. The hourglass vase has a graceful, sculptural silhouette, while the pedestal planter presents a classic, footed bowl shape. Both pieces are marked on the base—Floraline 400 USA and Floraline 461 USA. Please note that the maker's mark on the hourglass vase has faded over time.
McCoy Pottery, founded in 1910, became renowned for its high-quality ceramic designs, particularly during the mid-20th century. The Floraline series, introduced in the 1960s, was a line of functional yet stylish pottery made exclusively for florists. This set is a wonderful addition to a vintage pottery collection, especially collectors of mid-century American pottery or those who appreciate timeless, understated design.
