This vintage 1961 Hull Pottery "Capri" Basket Planter #48 is a striking example of mid-century American ceramic design. Part of Hull’s "Capri" line, this sculptural planter features an elegant floral-inspired motif with flowing, organic lines and raised berry clusters, capturing the fluidity and movement of nature. The solid light gray glaze is an uncommon variation, as most Capri pieces were produced in coral or sea green, making this piece a unique find for Hull collectors.
Hull Pottery, founded in 1905 in Crooksville, Ohio, became known for its beautifully crafted art pottery and decorative ceramics. The Capri line was introduced in 1961, reflecting mid-century modern influences with its sculptural and abstract botanical designs. This planter can be displayed as a centerpiece, used as a decorative vessel for floral arrangements, or added to a collection of American art pottery.
A wonderful addition for collectors of Hull Pottery, mid-century decor enthusiasts, or lovers of unique vintage ceramics.
