This vintage 32-ounce stoneware pitcher was made by Nelson McCoy Pottery in the 1970s and features a classic cream-colored glaze with two dark brown stripes along the bottom. The bottom is marked with both the McCoy maker’s mark and the Lancaster Colony Corporation (LCC) mark, which purchased McCoy Pottery in 1974 and renamed the company Nelson McCoy Pottery. “USA” is also included in the mark, signifying its American craftsmanship. McCoy Pottery, originally established in 1910, became one of the most recognizable names in American pottery. This mid-century design makes it an ideal accent piece for a retro home bar as a cocktail pitcher or in a kitchen for a touch of nostalgia.
