Vintage Rosenthal Coffee Pot: Romance Pattern, 100th Anniversary Edition

This rare 100 year anniversary edition by Rosenthal Studio-Linie coffee pot was produced in Germany and designed by Danish artist Bjørn Wiinblad. Crafted between 1979 and 1980 to commemorate Rosenthal’s 100-year anniversary, this 9-inch tall porcelain coffee pot was part of their "Romance" series and features a high gloss white-on-white pattern of embossed ovals. This special anniversary variation is distinguished by its unique sculptural finial, different from the standard Romance edition produced outside the jubilee year.

Marked with the official green “100 Jahre Rosenthal” centennial backstamp, this limited production piece was made exclusively between August 1979 and July 1980. Rosenthal’s Studio-Linie, known for its modernist collaborations with renowned designers, showcased Wiinblad’s signature blend of elegance and whimsy in this timeless piece.
