Vintage Spode Gainsborough Tureen: Floral Lidded Casserole with Apple Finial

Vintage Copeland Spode tureen (or vegetable lidded casserole) in the Gainsborough pattern. Made of earthenware and scalloped in shape, the lid has a lovely apple shaped finial. Decorated with a multicolor floral motive. Curved shaped handles are on both sides. The Gainsborough collection was available from 1954 – 2003. Along with the Copeland Spode maker's mark, this tureen is also numbered on the bottom.

Condition: Excellent – no chips, cracks, stains, crazing, or fading. There is a small spot of white paint on the rim of the tureen, but there isn't a chip underneath (please see last photo). Feel free to message me if you have additional questions or would like more photos.
