Hand painted underglaze on Southern semi-porous pottery, this plate showcases a stylized green pear with brown stem and leaf, outlined in soft black on a creamy white background. It was produced during the 1940s in Erwin, Tennessee, and reflects the bold, colorful motifs that made Blue Ridge pottery so beloved by collectors and decorators alike. The backstamp reads “Blue Ridge, Southern Pottery, Made in U.S.A.” in blue.
