Bareuther Bavaria Christmas Plate Set: 1971 & 1973 Blue White Porcelain

This set of two Bareuther Bavaria limited edition Christmas plates, were crafted in Germany from fine porcelain. Each plate measures 7.75 inches in diameter and decorated in classic cobalt blue and white underglaze, a long-standing tradition of Bavarian porcelain artistry. The set includes:

1971 – Weihnachten 1971: A festive market scene with children and decorated Christmas trees, marked “Christmas 1971” with the Bareuther Bavaria crest on the reverse.

1973 – Weihnachten 1973: A charming winter scene of children pulling a sled through the snow, with a village and forest in the background. Marked “Christmas 1973” on the front and backstamp on the reverse.

Bareuther Waldsassen, founded in Bavaria in the 19th century, produced fine porcelain and collectible series admired worldwide. Their annual Christmas plates were issued in limited editions, reflecting both craftsmanship and European holiday tradition.
