Vintage Delft Blue Wall Plate: Hand-Decorated Dutch Scene (9.5 inch)

These large 9.5-inch Delft Blue decorative wall plates were made in Holland by Ter Steege B.V. in 1984. Each og the hand-decorated blue and white plates feature artwork by Dutch painter Coen van Hunnik (also known as J.C. van Hunnik or Jan van Hunnik, 1925–2016). Van Hunnik is known for his nostalgic depictions of traditional Dutch life, rendered here in classic Delft blue on ceramic.

The back includes the original maker’s mark: Delft Blauw Handdecorated in Holland – Ter Steege B.V., with two plates also marked with the year 1984. Every plate (except for the Cheese Maker plate) includes the original built-in wall hanger, ready for display.
