Vintage Sadler England’s Rose Teapot

This vintage Sadler teapot in the England’s Rose pattern was made in Staffordshire, England circa 1970–1982. Crafted in white bone china, the teapot features a deep red rose motif with green foliage on both sides and on the lid. The scalloped lid is topped with a looped gold handle, and gold detailing accents the spout, handle and base. The teapot is marked underneath with the blue crown-over-banner backstamp: “Sadler Made in England.”

Sadler has been a beloved name in British ceramics since the 1800s, known for producing quality teapots with enduring appeal. This piece captures the romantic floral aesthetic typical of Sadler’s later 20th-century designs. Ideal for display or a thoughtful gift for a tea drinker or English pottery collector.

Condition: Light crazing on the lower section of one side and underneath (please see last two photos). Otherwise in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, stains or fading. Gold is completely intact. Feel free to message me if you have additional questions or would like more photos.
