Set of 2 – Vintage CorningWare Spice of Life Casserole Dishes – L’Echalote 1 Liter and Le Persil La Sauge 1.5 Quart

These two vintage CorningWare square casserole dishes are from the popular Spice of Life collection. This set includes the CorningWare classic “L’Echalote” and “Le Persil La Sauge” patterns. Both dishes are without lids.

The 1-liter “L’Echalote” dish is marked under one handle with “A-1-B 1 LITER” and “Corning Ware” under the other handle. This dish does have a small chip under one handle that is not visible when viewed from above or to the side. (Price has been adjusted based on condition.)

The 1.5-quart “Le Persil La Sauge” dish bears the full mark: “Corning Ware A-1 1/2-B 1 1/2 Quart Range – Oven – Microwave Corning, NY, USA 178 MA,” under one handle. This dish shows light surface wear.

The Spice of Life pattern, introduced in 1972 and produced into the 1980s, is one of CorningWare’s most iconic designs. Featuring a medley of illustrated herbs and vegetables, the pattern became a nostalgic staple in American kitchens.
