With an intricate neoclassical design, each 10.5 inch plate has a vibrant green and gold background. Each plate features detailed mythological scenes, with classic figures beautifully rendered in rich colors. The plates are bordered with gilded accents, adding a luxurious touch and reflecting the high-quality standards of Mitterteich porcelain from this era.

Both plates are marked on the reverse with the Mitterteich Bavaria backstamp and “Germany 39. Mitterteich Porcelain, founded in 1887 in Bavaria, Germany, was renowned for its high-quality porcelain, which blended traditional craftsmanship with intricate, decorative designs.
