Vintage Brass Pineapple Letter Opener: Engraved Golf Award Decor

Beautiful pineapple detail on the handle of this solid brass letter opener from 1987. In lovely condition with aged patina on the pineapple handle. This pineapple brass letter opener is 8.75 inches long. One side is engraved as this letter opener was awarded at a country club golf tournament. The inscription reads, "1987 WFCC Member-Guest, Flight 1 2nd Low Net." (see last photo). The other side is not engraved, making this a lovely accent piece in high quality brass. The pineapple have been a symbol of wealth and hospitality for centuries making this accent piece a welcoming touch in any space.
