Antique Nippon Candy Dish: Morimura Hand-Painted Floral Plate with Gold Accent

Excellent condition, this antique Nippon Morimura dish with tab handles (candy/nut dish) was made between 1911 – 1921. Beautifully hand painted with gold outline beaded trim and painted moriage flowers in pink and blue with a gold center design. Made in Japan, this antique handled dish measures 7 1/2 inches. The bottom of the dish has the Nippon green maker's mark of a M-in-Wreath and read, "Hand Painted Nippon." The "M" in the maker's mark stands for the importer, Morimura Brothers.

Condition: Excellent – no chips, cracks, stains, crazing, or fading. Gold is also completely intact. Feel free to message me if you have additional questions or would like more photos.
