This high quality framed print, captures the charm and beauty of Worthing Pier, a public pleasure pier in Worthing, West Sussex, England. Worthing Pier was designed by Sir Robert Rawlinson, and opened in 1862. Today, the pier still remains open to the public and in 1996 the award winning UK photographer Jo Crowther shot this beautiful photo titled, "The Pier Worthing."

Jo Crowther was born in York, England in 1963. She specializes in photographing natural surroundings in soothing tones with dramatic light and shadows. Capturing images from a slightly abstract perspective, Crowther has exhibited extensively in the UK and Europe. In 1995, Crowther won the prestigious award for her landscape titled, "Pyramids" by the Association of Photographers. She has also won a silver award from the Royal Photographic Society, as well as the Design & Art Director’s award.
