In excellent condition, this collectible vintage decanter was made by Jim Beam and Regal China in 1977 to honor the U.S. Navy Submarine veterans. This ceramic decanter honors the Submarine Diamond Jubilee (1900–1975) and pays special tribute to World War II submarine veterans. The front of the decanter features embossed lettering with "1900 – 1975 Submarine Diamond Jubilee," while the back proudly displays "U.S. Submarine Veterans, World War II." Designed by Catherine (C.) Miller, a noted designer for Jim Beam, this piece was crafted by Regal China, The bottom of the decanter is marked: "Creation of James Beam Distilling Co, Genuine Regal China 1977, C Miller." Regal China’s history dates back to 1930 in Chicago, and its partnership with Jim Beam produced some of the most recognizable collectible decanters. This decanter was decorated with a beautiful blue glaze and gold accent detailing. The decanter opens in the back with a screw top cap.
This commemorative decanter is an excellent addition to a collection of vintage barware, military memorabilia, or Jim Beam collectors. Display it on a shelf to honor those who served or gift it to a history enthusiast with ties to the Navy.
