Vintage collectable Churchill England cobalt blue willow platter. This is large 12.5 inch blue and white roound platter in the Willow pattern. Churchill's Willow pattern is decorated in the Blue Willow style depicting Chinese symbols, and a serene outdoor setting. Blue Willow is categorized as a chinoiserie design, drawing inspiration from Chinese art and culture yet was crafted specifically for European audiences. Made of strong lasting stoneware, the platter is microwavable and dishwasher safe (as indicated on the back). This platter dates to the 1980s.
