Antique Limoges Platter: Haviland France, Pink & Blue Flowers, 20" Oval

This is an extra large (nearly 20 inches) Haviland & Co. Limoges France oval platter circa 1890 – early 1900. This large antique Haviland France platter is in excellent condition (see notes below for details). A beautiful platter that is decorated both on the top and bottom in the Schleiger 71D pattern which has sprigs of dark pink and blue flowers. The handles have gold accenting. The form of this white porcelain platter is the Schleiger 7 blank which had scalloped edging and a raised scroll design along the rim. Underneath the platter is a double circular footing with the Haviland France mark in green and the Haviland & Co Limoges decorator mark in red.

Condition: No chips, cracks, stains, crazing, or fading. Please see last two photos – some gold has worn off on the raised scroll near handles. In addition, there are three gray paint marks on the underside near handle (most likely done during production). Otherwise, in excellent condition.
