Antique Frank M. Whiting Sterling Silver Rim Crystal Salt Cellars – Set of 4

This elegant set of 4 antique salt cellars was crafted in 1896 by Frank M. Whiting & Co. Each piece features a starburst crystal body with a sterling silver rim marked "FRANK M. WHITING, STERLING, PAT. PENDING." These beautiful salt cellars showcase the company’s signature beaded edge and light catching starburst pattern on the crystal base, a style known as Sterling Holloware.

Frank M. Whiting & Co., founded after a series of partnerships dating back to 1840, became renowned for their quality sterling holloware and flatware. The company’s name was changed to Frank M. Whiting in 1896, marking these pieces as an authentic part of their legacy. In 1924 the company was purchased and absorbed into the Gorham company. These antique salt cellar set would make a thoughtful heirloom quality gift, or to add a sophisticated touch to your holiday table.
