This rare set of six Tiffin-Franciscan champagne coupes in the Encanto pattern were made between 1979 and 1984. Crafted from blown glass, these tall vintage champagne glasses (6-inches in height) features a subtle rib shape on the bowl and an intricate detail on the stems which captures the light beautifully. These particular Encanto glasses are in the "no trim" pattern, whereas the Encanto pattern was also made in gold and platinum trims on the rim of the glasses. This no trim pattern makes this set easily incorporated into other glassware in your collection. The Tiffin-Franciscan maker's mark is etched on the foot of five of the six glasses.
The Tiffin Glass Company began in 1892 when the A. J. Beatty & Sons Glass factory moved from Steubenville, Ohio to Tiffin. In 1969, Interpace acquired the Tiffin Glass Company and began producing Franciscan glass. As highly collectible vintage stemware, these champagne glasses serve as a tribute to Tiffin-Franciscan's legacy of American glass craftsmanship. A wonderful gift for fans of vintage glassware, particularly lovers of fine vintage champagne coupes.
