Vintage Villeroy & Boch Botanica Tureen: Yellow Floral Casserole

A vintage Villeroy & Boch 3 quart Tureen with lid in the Botanica Pattern. The Botanica Pattern has been discontinued, and based on the early blue maker's mark version of this pattern, this tureen dates to the early 1980s.

This white tureen is made of vitro-porcelain and has two handles and lid. The tureen is decorated with yellow flowers with green leaves, and accented with brown banding on the rims and lid handle. The description on the tureen reads "Ranunculus Sceleratus" (the common name is celery-leaved buttercup, an annual herb).

Care Instructions: the bottom mentions hand wash (lave- vaisselle) and not dishwasher safe.

Located in Luxembourg, Villeroy and Boch was founded in 1767 and is one of the longest-established European brands.

Condition: Excellent – no chips, stains, crazing, or fading.
