This 1960s Aynsley Cookie Plate is in the Pembroke pattern and made of fine bone china in England. Measuring 8.5 inches wide, this decorative plate has a gold scalloped rim and was created to showcase Anysley's beloved 18th Century Pembroke design.
Founded in 1775 by John Aynsley in Lane End, Staffordshire, the company has been a favorite of the British royal family, with both Queen Elizabeth II and Diana, Princess of Wales choosing Anysley pottery as wedding gifts. A commission from Queen Victoria for tableware allowed Aynsley to utilize the seal of the royal family within its maker’s mark. The back of the plate is stamped, "Aynsley Made in England, Fine Bone China." This plate also includes the following reproduction information, "Pembroke Reproduction of an Eighteenth Century Anysley Design."
