Vintage Casafina Cream and Sugar Set: Hand-Painted Hyacinths, Portugal

This charming set includes a vintage blue and white ceramic sugar bowl with lid and matching creamer made in Malveira, Portugal by the ceramic artisan studio FMF. Made of bright white ceramics, each piece is hand-painted with a blue Hyacinth flower and the top is painted with a blue and green pattern. Blue hyacinths are a symbol of sincerity, loyalty, fidelity, and constancy thereby making this set a meaningful gift to give to a loved one.

Each piece is hand signed by the artist with the company's mark, and reads, "Made in Portugal, Malveria, Hand- Painted Casafina." Below this information are the artist's initials, and the mold number. This sugar and creamer set was crafted by FMF for the Casafina company which began in 1988 and exports artisanal ceramics from skilled artisans in Portugal and Italy.
