Vintage Limoges Christmas Plate: Haviland 'Twas Night Before Christmas, 1981

This vintage Haviland Limoges Christmas plate makes a wonderful holiday keepsake. This collector's plate has the classic Christmas passage from, "'Twas Night Before Christmas" on the back. This charming plate depicts children and their cat fast asleep on the night before Christmas. There's even a cute little mouse sleeping at the foot of the bed. Beautiful detail with raised hand painting above the sleeping children. his will make a lovely family heirloom for the time honor practice of leaving cookies for Santa Claus or on display as part of your Christmas decor. This Limoges plate is dated 1981, and is the second in a series. Made by the luxury porcelain company Haviland which is located in Limoges France.
