Vintage W.R. Unikat Polish Pottery Bowls: Blue Floral Stoneware

This vintage collection is from the highly respected W.R. Unikat Pottery Company located in Boleslawiec, Poland. Each piece of stoneware was hand crafted, hand painted, and artist signed. The UNIKAT stamp is used for the studio's highest level of craftsmanship. This world class pottery studio is known for their floral and plant designs, and each item was decorated with the studio's signature blue and yellow flower motive. The two bowls have a reticulated (pierced) pattern along the outer rim.

The company was founded in 1978 by the Rutyna family, and each piece has the original maker's mark initials W and R above the UNIKAT back stamp. The company is located in the town of Boleslawiec, known for its pottery-making tradition and celebrated as "Miasto Ceramiki" (ceramic city).
